Rozhodně souhlasím s Magyana, protože první část knihy je jedno velké ach ne. Tolik popsané krutostí s tak málo útěchy by mohlo zapůsobit stejně jako zapůsobila kniha Utrpení mladého Werthera. Rozhodně to v člověku zanechá otisk. A druhá část? Rozhodně velká úleva.
Neuvěřitelný díl. Velké díky autorce, že se nakonec Acheronovi dostane štasného konce. S první částí knihy jsem měla velký problém. Tolik bolesti a neštěstní, které potkalo Acherona, bylo místy nesnesitelné. Druhá část se čte lehčeji s nadějí. Opravdu silná kniha.
Ahoj, nevíte jestli kniha vyšla i v češtině, popř. slovenštině? Shanim ji pro anglicky nehovorici mamku :) Diky za odpověď :)
Kniha je rozdělená na dvě části. První se odehrává se starověkém Řecku a rozhodně vás nenechá emociálně chladnými. Chce se vám plakat, chce se vám řvát, zatínáte nehty do knihy/čtečky/kamkoli. Autorka příběh tak vygraduje, že si až oddechnete, když se přesune do klidnější druhé části, která se odehrává v moderním New Orleans. Tam už se jen zasníte a držíte palce.
