The atmosphere is set nicely, many previous characters appear, the main idea is interesting both legally and morally, but I felt something missing the whole time. The storytelling feels routine, here and there padded a little with unnecessary details, the lines feel tired and predictable. I have been surprised by one choice the Brigance family made, to be honest. Not bad, but nothing extraordinary, felt a little long because of that.
