Co si budeme, já jsem takový opak Briseis. Kytky mám ráda, ale ty rostlinky, co mám doma, se dělí do tří kategorií: ty které uschly, ty které uhnily a ty, které se ještě nerozhodly...
Ale i tak se mi téma moc líbilo.
Rozjezd byl docela pomalý, pak to trochu nabralo tempo, ale drželo si to tu povolenou třicítku v obytné zóně, a jakmile se vše blížilo ke konci, wow.. to rozhodně překračovalo veškerou povolenou rychlost. Konec byl opravdu velmi akční a samozřejmě nechyběl ani pořádný cliffhanger.
Moc mile mě překvapilo téma řecké mytologie, které jsem v tomhle příběhu vůbec nečekala a pořád jsem si říkala, jestli mi to tam sedí nebo ne, ale bavilo mě to, takže spíš ano :)
Co mi trochu vadilo - mně je úplně putna, jestli je hlavní hrdinka černoška, běloška, jestli má šikmé oči. Briseis je, jak již je z obálky jasné, dívka černé pleti a většina postav jsou také černoši. To je samozřejmě v pořádku. Ale občas tam padaly hlášky ohledně barvy pleti (na bílou barvu kůže), které mi přišly úplně zbytečné, byly tam tak trochu navíc.
Moc se mi líbil vztah, který má Bri se svými mamkami, které byly jako postavy skvělé a humorné.
Nesedla mi romance v knize, spíš tedy objekt zájmu hlavní hrdinky, tato postava mi přišla k uzoufání nudná (asi jako Sabran v Převorství u pomerančovníku...).
